Quetzalkoatl Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 All MiG-29s in DCS have that problem. Basically when I press "F" (flap key) - flaps deploy only 50% - if I press that again they go back to 0%. LShift+F (landing flaps) doesn't work here at all MiG-29 has 2 flaps position - 50% and 100% - so 100% is not avaliable to use. I've seen that AI MiG-29 can set flaps to 100% without any problems. The problem is also in 1.5.8.
Quetzalkoatl Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 Pilot can use only 0% and 50% And when it is at 50% in cockpit it shows as it was 100%.
Esac_mirmidon Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 The real Mig-29, like other planes, Su-27, has a three position flap panel. Retracted-Take Off-Landing. In DCS only two are working. And looking at the angle it seems only TakeOff and Retracted. " You must think in russian.." terminator363 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 This is a bug? I thought this is how the MiG and Su functioned. Happy Bug Hunting!
Esac_mirmidon Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 (edited) Reading again some manuals ( German Mig-29A, and another sources ), it seems there are only two positions regarding the Flaps. UP-DOWN-DOWN. Any DOWN button pressed and the flaps (25º) and slats (20º) are extended for taking off and landing. It seems the Flaps has only one position extended at 25º and the two DOWN buttons are extending the flaps to the same angle. Edited February 3, 2018 by Esac_mirmidon 1 " You must think in russian.."
