Hi guys,

I would like to anounce my latest movie project which was finished yesterday.

su25anirockets.gif

Original Su25 skin was done by : Mister Wolfe.

The movie is 20 minutes long.

I did the overall soundtrack myself with Magix music maker 2006.

And all the other "rock" songs in it, you all know !

You may add your opinion in the poll...

“Out of Service “ Scenario:

Eight, Czech Air Force SU-25 Frogfoot’s are stolen from Pardubice Airbase by discharged pilot “Frog” and former SU-25 squadron mates.

The Su-25 Frogfoot’s were just retired and on standby on the parking area for ferry flight elsewhere.

The aim of the anger pilots is taking out power stations

They disappear from radar due to low level flying in mountain area.

They must have been able to land on a landing strip to fit weapon inventory and fuel tanks which were stolen from storage urlier on.

Neighbour countries being alarmed because their heading unknown.

CAP/Intercept missions are launched by Poland, Germany, Austria & Slovakia.

Did the Su25’s split up ?

Attacks on the power stations are inevitable when the scrambled planes not succeed their mission.

Will this action by “Frog” and college’s start a new war in Europe ?

Greetings, wine'69 - The Netherlands

Nice Story - realistic or not - I had enjoyed it very much.

The first part already (one vision) gives me thrills.

You captured the aesthetic of LockOn very well without great effort of adding FX.

And a big  to the Soundtrack(We should make a jam session together).

Don't hesitated to post more movies of this quality.:smilewink:

I will keep it on a save place at my harddrive.

Thx, to all you guys for your nice comments.

Urze : Maybe we could do a jam session together :) As a mather of fact, I play the drums in a small 'Classic Rock' band called 'Basic Coverstory', but doing it just for fun.

The soundtrack isn't me playing the drums, but I made it with Magix Music Maker 2006. That's a program with loops, drums, bass, guitar, synthesizer which are free to compose in any way, at any speed.

But in this case I really did compose the drum rhythm of the soundtrack myself. The rest is trial and error by adding them to the basic drum rhythm, but enough about the music for now.

To be honest, I made a mistake in the editing phase with the "take off 's part" I had already set time ingame to 6.30 and while editing changed the contrast a bit but could not reset it later on. But a lesson to me, because the final movie was a bit to much disturbed in that scene.

I did not use it elsewhere in the movie. ( The time frame does good with the early morning color, which I liked very much )

Kindred : Thx

Yes, that's Dry Country ! I had the chance to see my favorite rockband 3 times here in The Netherlands ( Holland ) over the last years, but I was very sorry that on these nights the have not played it "Live" in front of me, so I stick to my cd in my car to listen to it often in the "Live " & CD performances. A very nice song with great heart in it. I love it ! :music_whistling:

Kifaru:

I which it was my own effort, but it's not, sorry :(

I did not do so very much of the flying in this movie to be honest...

I would like you to know that I did design the Austrian F5 skin myself ( because Austria uses leased Swiss F5e's now, and because Austria was not ingame ) I had some photo's from the net to my use. ( The Tiger and the Austrian airforce sign at the fin where added by me to give the skin a better look then the 'all weather' borring grey color.

( By the way, I did my militairy service, after the call for duty in 1989-1990 in the Royal Dutch Airforce 'Klu', as a firefighter at a Dutch airbase. At that time there where still Dutch F5's flying from and to my airbase in two tone grey, so that why I wanted it at all cost in this movie, I like the plane very much )

And also added the "Crazy Frog" picture with the rocket between his legs

to the Czech Su25 after'removing the original frog from the Mr.Wolf Skin.

Nice movie and good music selection.

and like you said, keep them comming.

Just a few comments. while there was alot of action, at some points, there was not enough happening to keep you interestied. (ie, the taxing scenes.) Less of that and more plot to the actual battles and your all set.

overall, awesome movie.

DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

Thx, aeroscout

"Should you, for some reason, be looking for me on hyperlobby, I'm the easiest one to shoot down."

( Your wrong, that would be me :megalol: and that's the reason I haven't been there, yet. I'm probable the worse virtual pilot you've ever met.)

I did think a lot about the length of the take off's & the landings in the movie, but because it's a part of the story, I thought it was right to do it.

I agree that these parts lack of real action but did my best to show nice angle's that you don't experience when you play the game.
