mstauning Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Well for me the load times are way lower: 47,8~48,3s for startup incl starting SteamVR! Then around the same to start a bigger mission...
Eldur Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Thought it's just me but I'm not alone with that issue when you double click DCS, you have to wait for almost a minute just for it to actually open up it's loading screen. I watched the task manager while doing this. It pop up with ~6MB (t=0s) and then slooooowly grows to ~320MB (t=~40s), then it instantly jumps up to ~650MB in one or two seconds (t=~42s) and getting slower again, but not as bad as it is initially. At ~970MB (t=~53s) the menu is loaded. When actually loading the map (editor or sim), it eats memory fairly quickly. Something like 35 seconds for ~7GB (roughly 200MB/s) as opposed to even more for less than just one gig.
