atonium83
Hello, since the 2.5 update, during a flight with my friends, we noticed that's be impossible to refuel the external fuel tanks during aerial refueling....
Sceptre
same for me. unable to fill the external tank during campaign mission 3 but it is working in a quick mission I threw together in the editor Edited February 3, 2018 by Sceptre RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2Ghz | Asrock X570 | CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle | TM MFDs | TrackIR
Azrayen
Hum, if that's confirmed, possible the campain uses an "old" way of having external tanks and that mounting "new" tanks is required (i.e. re-do the payload).
Sceptre
Sounds like something easily done in the mission planner. I will test and report here RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2Ghz | Asrock X570 | CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle | TM MFDs | TrackIR
Sceptre
yeah this fixed the problem. thanks, although i don't know why atonium83 is having this issue RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2Ghz | Asrock X570 | CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle | TM MFDs | TrackIR
Azrayen
Good! Thanks for the feed-back. About atonium83, he's probably also using an "old" mission (or at least "old" payload: it's possible that preset payloads remain old I think). You may reset your preset payload by deleting the M-2000C.lua in \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\MissionEditor\UnitPayloads That won't change the prob if "embedded" in an old mission though... That's for the mission creator to check/change/release updated version. ++ Az'
sunski34
Same problem with new mission. External central tanker lights stays up.... and no more then 3160lbs of fuel.
Tripleinside
On an old mission, night refuel on il-78. The drogue does not light up as you approach it (yes the probe light was on) As i nearly made contact, the tanker announced refueling complete ! (Fstest a/a refuel ever) :) Win10 x64, Intel core I9 9900k@5ghz, 32GB DDR4, RTX2080 ti, MSI Z370 Tomahawk mobo, M.2 SSD, Warthog HOTAS, home made trackIr, Pimax 8K
sunski34
New test... New mission created in 2.5, one central tank. When air refuel completed, 3160lbs. RL lights on. If I jettison central tank I loose more than 600lb, from 3160 (approx) to 2400 approx. RL indicator is bad too.
jojo
Not that important for the matter but to avoid confusion: Mirage 2000 gauge is in kg, not lbs. So 3160kg. Otherwise I confirm the bug. We can't complete the fuel tank, we are disconnected when internal fuel is full. [Edit] Custom SP mission created in DCS World 2.5 with KC-130 tanker. Sceptre
maybe it's a multiplayer thing? my test was done in sp and it was fine, i tried with the 3 different tanker aircraft RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2Ghz | Asrock X570 | CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle | TM MFDs | TrackIR

Sorry for unit confusion, yes kg of course. Yes, new 2.5 custom mission, same for me, KC130 tanker. Central tanker only in my case. Test in SP and MP. I'm not sure that onlyinternal fuel is full.... When jettison central tanker just after, difference of 600kg on jauges. It seems to disconnect when approaching 3160kg but central tanker has fuel (600kg approx). Tripleinside
Flew a mission last night in MP.... issue still present in spite of the recent patch. sunski34
Tried today, the problem is now different as before. The tanker continues taking fuel when at 3160kg but no more increase of fuel indicator... Seems the be a M2000C pb. Test in, SP M2000C single central tank. Are you sure to have updated to the latest patch this week ? Just tried and it works ok, fuel tanks topped off, both central and wing tanks, and fuel gauge OK (DETOT). I started in the air, with 20% internal fuel for fuselage tank and 10% internal fuel for wing tanks. (mission editor) In game, external tank fuel was correctly transferred to internal tank at the start. So for fuselage tank I had empty tank light on fuel panel. Tripleinside
Jojo, did you try in MP ? During last night's EVAC mission with Ergo, all of the 7 Mirage had the issue. None of us could refuel the central RP off the IL-78 (In your screenshot, you're refueling off a KC130, with the 2 long range RPs... different scenario) Edited February 17, 2018 by Tripleinside Win10 x64, Intel core I9 9900k@5ghz, 32GB DDR4, RTX2080 ti, MSI Z370 Tomahawk mobo, M.2 SSD, Warthog HOTAS, home made trackIr, Pimax 8K

No MP yet. No, I tested both fuselage tank (first screenshot, see the DETOT value) and the wing tanks. At least maybe we can narrow down the problem to MP issue ? IL-78 issue ? I would say: - Try to edit and save again the MP mission with last DCS World version. - Be sure that everybody, especially the host, is up to date in DCS version. sunski34
When starting in air it's ok...Fuel tank is full more than 4000kg. But when starting hot from parking, you can't have more than 3160kg. And light stays on for RL.
