Need help transfering inputs from 1.5.8 to 2.5

I saved the inputs, but don't see how to apply them to 2.5

Copy the Input folder (and it's contents) from the old DCS folder "User\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input" to "User\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config"

 

DCS 2.5 will then have your old input profiles.

 

 

Note: the 2.5 OpenBeta save folder DCS.??? might be named different if you have customised dcs_variant.txt or manually updated a release build.

 

In my case, Steam doesn't use "dcs_variant.txt", so the 'root' save folder is just '"User\Saved Games\DCS' even though I'm on the 2.5 OpenBeta.

Thanks Ramsay, but that's not working for me. Looks like you saved input from DCS main. I saved from Saved games alpha. Can that still work?

Worked for me..

 

2.2 to 2.5 username / saved games

Alpha config etc to beta.
