( ie with JHMCS Aim9x etc). only thing different between them internally is that th A++ and Cf188 have replaced the 2 Left and Right Monochrome green CRT Displays with LCD colour displays,. F/A18C until the end of production rn was built with those archaic Monochrome green displays, and they weren't swappeed into the 2000s. The A++/Cf188 retain the analog fuel display, wheras the C's have digital fuel management system from the first production batches. Otherwise C188/ F/A18A ++ are on par with 21st century F/A18C. Not relevant within a simulator like DCS, but those USMC and Canadian Hornets do however have much more airframe fatigue (Cf188 especially), being older air frames with more flight time than the younger F/A18C's. Sounds good to me. On a side note I personally think the RCAF low visibility Camo scheme is one of the best looks for a hornet. and the Faux canopy painted under the nose is tactically awesome.

Guess we will have to wait until custom skins get made. From the looks of it ED only is making US Navy, Swiss and Finnish Skins. IN discussions they said they were focusing on a US NAvy Hornet and only intend to include skins for users of the Lot 20 Production series of the F/A18C WHich Ed is Modelling. ( Lot 20's produced in 1998 ). It seems its not even certain if we get official USMC skins. Anyways anyone else feel free to correct me if im wrong on this. IM quoting from memory here, what i read in the Hornet thread, some time ago. flyingscotsman Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Lovely model, well done, and that's why I like two seaters, most of the time they look better.
