No worries,

I am going to suggest waiting a little for the next patch and retrying.

If you had a track replay it maybe easier for me to reproduce, sometimes after a crash if no track is in saved games or your log zip it can be found in appdata

example C:\Users\bigne\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta\Lastmissiontrack.trk

Dont worry, sometimes the crash will not produce a track at all.

We shouldnt have long to wait for the patch, drop me a PM if you wish after in case I overlook this post.

Great!, thanks a lot for your fast responses mate!!

...yeah, looks like thats what happened though, the track I found in there is not even of the last 6/7 missions, maybe because all of the last ones I had a crash but not sure...just to let you know in case its relevant.

Also, I can confirm that free flight works no problems (tested about 1,5h), which I guess is good to know also.

bye mate!!

Bignewy, i just noticed something!...I didnt realize that in the log, the CockpitBase.dll, as well as the whole log, points to a "D" drive location which NO LONGER EXIST ...I mean...a week ago, I purchased a new 500gb 850EVO SSD ("S" labeled drive) which I use now for DCS...previously, I had my 1.5.8 open beta in a HDD labeled "D" where the updated 2.5 was installed for a couple of days...

what I did to move the install to the new SSD (S drive) from my previous HDD (D drive) is what seems to be the consensus in these forums on how to do that: just copy-paste the whole "DCS World OpenBeta" folder from D to S (creating the path S:/Program files/Eagle Dynamics/ on it)...also, edited the entry of registry where the OB pointed to "D" to point now to "S" and it works fine as I use the Start menu shortcuts to update and such and have no issues.

The thing is...how is possible that the log of the crash now point to D drive which no longer even exist (I already deleted all traces of DCS from that drive)?¿?¿?:

I have tried to fly again the mission I posted a few times (in the latest 2.5 update)... I noticed that if I dont ask my wingman to attack ground targets at opportunity, the mission seems to work fine (no crash, at least after a long flight time)...however, if I ask the wingman to attack, the mission crashes...sometimes it takes longer but a couple of times, the mission crashed INSTANTLY after asking that order to my wingman...maybe it has something to do with that.

Bignewy, I guess you didnt try doing that when testing the mission so maybe thats why you didnt get the crash...anyway, sometimes it requires some time to crash.

thanks!!

Hello there!

I bought the Harrier yesterday and once I installed it, I launched an Instant Action mission. The "Free Flight" one... Aaaand, once I start turning the aircraft, it crashes... Tried again and again... The same thing. All the other modules work fine. I deleted Open Beta (that's where I firstly spotted the problem), downloaded and installed again and still the same. Any idea?
