Laud Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I think there are more unorthodox possibilities to buy a K-36 for a much cheaprer price :D Yap, shoot a mig nearby and take the used one... :megalol::music_whistling: However I won't be able to build the seat 1:1 as I'm building a Su-27-modified Aker-Barnes-Pit and for transport issues the seat will have to stay "detachable". But all drawings and stuff are wellcome to come as close as possible under the given circumstances. When the building of the pit begins I'll post some pics. Geier Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 When the building of the pit begins I'll post some pics. Wow... sounds alluring. ~70000 us $, maybe 40k if you buy a used one. New seats cost between 50 and 150 thousand dollars. I can send an email to Zvezda asking them how much their latest and greatest costs :P hehe - why should you buy a *new* one??? The old model is cheaper, I guess;)

Triggerhappy69 Posted July 15, 2007 Author Posted July 15, 2007 Is it just me and my comouter..? Thank you all for the kind words.. ! I have said it before, but it can't be said to many times.. It's feedback like this that keeps me motivated to finish the Pit.. I know that is the same as admitting we post the pics so you can tell us how brilliant we all are..! But what the heck..! Let's be honest about it.. :megalol: The files seem to be corrupted in some way..! It only shows me part of the drawing..? Or is it just me..? "But (504)Brewber said they were'nt friendly.. So I took'em out.!" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Geier Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Hehe, F_F - I understand English as well, so you don't need to write the same in Russian;) JaBoG32_Laud - Thx:)

Laud Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Sorry for doubleposting, but as I decided to give you guys a small taste of what I've done so far (pure planing, didn't touch a sheet of plywood so far... ;) ), I thought I should bring it up with a fresh post. As you can see it's a modified Akers-Barnes Pit. The seat is so far kind of a v0.8version of my ideas. Still looking for the most important optical elements I have to cover without making it "fix" and untransportable (or hard to transport... ;) ).
