Did you try running as administrator? Use the start menu shortcut for update and right click - more - run as admin.

 

Sorry if it doesn't work..just my best guess considering the updater can't delete a file and the fact that it's on your boot drive.

could be antivirus scanning.

Tried both as admin and restart. Still same message. Also tried repair and update again and same thing

try a windows reboot, then deleting it manually

 

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin/edCore.dll

 

if you are unable some other process is likely using it, and if dcs has not been started it is a possibility some other process on your machine is preventing it being used.

 

if you do manage to delete it, run the update again or a cleanup and repair
