I have Upgrade my PC with a 8800GTX. Is there now a lightning Problem in FC? Look at the white Lines on the Texture - is that normal? There was more shade on the airplane with a ATI 1950, or I am mistaken there?

Do you use the shadow of "full" to "all planar" and the error is gone! ;)

Yeh some other people have been discussing this... I'll try to confirm on my 8800gts.

One thing I want to ask, haven't "full" shadows been borked on all cards since day one? 3Sqn_Mustang you recall? Your the resident ATI expert

Mines fine here, full shadows, but then Im using old drivers as well.

I've never seen that issue with the ATI cards ever, i believe the shadow problem is fully down to the nvidia drivers.

Heres a pic taken with the latest 7.2's on my X800XT, full shadows.

Has any1 managed to resolve this issue? I have also white edges along the sides of the plane.

Im using 97.92 drivers (latest) on 8800GTS. Heres a pic. Its really annoying.
