Zoltar Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I purchased a Saitek X52 a week ago. I have managed to map the Zoom view in LOMAC to the slider on the throttle and it works fine great. But recentely the view starts flickering and i have to move the slider a little forward or backward to stabilise the view. When i tested the slider in control panel sometimes i see the flickering there too.. Is it a manufacturing defect in the stick? Or is there a workaround ?
thereminqblank Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I am not sure if there is a work around, but I think it's a known issue. I have the same problem and have read that others do too.... gundelgauk Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Is it a manufacturing defect in the stick? Or is there a workaround ? I have the same issue and upon searching through the Saitek forum I found some posts with similar problems. Bottom line was always that some sets have this issue and the only solution seems to be to send it in for a replacement. You might want to start a thread there or post in one that already exists but I guess they will just tell you to send it in as well. The X-52 is really good, apart from the "precision" slider (lol) and the mouse wheel on the front imho. Those things are giving me trouble.
Frostie Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I think because its a 'precision slider' its not very good at responding to rapid movements, ive set mine as flap position with a couple of bands set as dead zones ,works a treat.
