dresoccer4 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 (edited) do the taxi/landing lights seem underpowered to anyone else? i can't see 10 feet in front of me with them on at night. i have to taxi using NVG. is this how it's supposed to work? if so, what's the point of them at all? thanks! WOPR Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 I think it has something to do with the render settings. I noticed the same thing in 2.2 alpha and solved the problem by turning off deferred rendering. I improved the light reflection a bit with monitor settings, but overall it does seem like the lights have very dim bulbs. The colors/light reflections are spot on except for not being very bright.
WeakLink Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Here is a question when gear goes up does the lite turn off with assurances it will not start a fire in the wheel well? Do you or should shut the lite off after gear up?

Do you or should shut the lite off after gear up? The taxi/hover lights fold up. Position and anti collision lights are still visible. I don't think there is any harm in leaving g your main lights on in the sim. However, I do turn my main lights switch to off so my position lights are off and I can't be easily spotted visually.
