Instant Action Problem - Getting the Map and No cockpit

Hi All,

 

I am not able to get into my plane/cockpit to actually "fly" the mission. All I get is the map in instant action. Is there anyway I can jump into the cockpit from there? What am I doing wrong?

 

I was using the KA50 with the Nevada map, but also tried it with the Normandy map with the same results.

 

I have tried using previous versions of DCS which I have kept and I am able to fly instant action.

Once had that happen to me with an aircraft after an update. Even though the aircraft looked to be installed in the Module Manager, for some reason, the sim didn't recognize it. I had to reinstall it. Then everything was fine again. But, for me, prior to reinstalling I noticed that if I created a mission in the ME that aircraft was not available to assign as a Player aircraft.

Right after I updated the 2.5 beta to the latest version, I got into the mission editor by mistake, but exited from it right away. Maybe that is why it is not working.

 

When you say re-install, do you mean the entire 2.5 beta version or do you mean just the aircraft affected?

I mean reinstall the module itself, not the entire World.

Instant Action Problem- Missing Planes

 

I downloaded 2.5 and everything was fine until I took a big update last night... Now I'm missing two planes. I tried re installing and even reactivating the planes .. Nothing.... There sitting in my installed area show they are there but they don't show up on instant action or muliplayer
