Select multiple client aircraft in DCS 2.5

So I used to be able to do this in older version of DCS. I would set up an airfield with the Client airframes I want (helictopers and jets) and then select one and shift click to select another. I would select all of them, then be able to open up another mission - and paste them.

 

Since the last update, I can't seem to shift click multiple units. As the method changed?

It never occured to me to multi-select, have you tried control click?
