BlacleyCole Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 I’m relatively new at dcs still learning to fly the Huey. Haven’t tried combat yet. Are they non combat multiplayer groups servers etc? Also how do you feel if a newbe joins your group and be comes canon fodder right off the bat. Is it common for newbies to die and everyone understands it or do you hold it against them. Not that a Huey is very aggressive except for cas. BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11. FragBum Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Only if you come back to life then we have to treat you as a zombies. :P :D I'm waiting for 2.5 to settle then I'll get back into aerobatics online, there are many other servers and groups that offer help for newbies. 229th Black Shark Den and others I'm sure they will chime in here sooner or latter. Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. sslechta Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Aerobatics Online is one of the non-combat free flight servers out there to practice your flying skills. RED Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Is this an issue? With the Huey you often can enjoy MP when you read the briefing and get on TS or SRS. Since the Huey can not defend itself there is no big difference between s.o. experience or new as long as you know where to go and what load to take with you. Good luck!
raymond502 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 looking for some help getting on and flying MP, what to I need to hear voices and talk.
PeaceSells Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Is it common for newbies to die and everyone understands it or do you hold it against them. The fact that you die doesn't bug anyone, you don't have to worry about that. What will make your teammates more happy about your presence is when you use comms to pass and receive good info, whether you die or not. Get into multiplayer, fighting human players is so much more immersive than fighting bots. Some servers use Discord, others use Teamspeak and others use SimpleRadio (SRS). They usually state what program for communication they use in their mission description.
