granola1861 Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I've downloaded the newest files and such but in the latest 2.5 the hangar doors still fail to open. The hangar doesn't appear until the mission starts but fail to open. Any help?
baltic_dragon Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 That is weird, I haven't noticed anything like this myself. Try to run a repair and if it doesn't help, perhaps just open the mission and move your jet to an open parking spot, that should not have adverse effect on the mission. granola1861 Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 Well I've tried all I know to try. I've redownloaded the latest updates, reset my start position (Colt 1-1 crashes into hangar doors), reset Colt 1-1 start position (he starts moving without me), moved the trigger zone for player and repositioned the stop soldier for Colt 1-1 (he runs him over in a gruesome display), set a start trigger for Colt 1-1 (he starts at the correct point but refuses to move even after the aforementioned block soldier is gone). I'll wait for the Red Flag campaign I guess... Thanks for responding to my issue though.
Ramsay Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 ... I haven't noticed anything like this myself. I can confirm, I see the doors open when running "Mission 6 - Mk 82" as a stand-alone mission in DCS 2.5.0.15365 (tested both the 2.5 default and update thread missions). Well I've tried all I know to try. Have you run a DCS Repair ? or created a 'clean' mission in the ME with a M-2000C spawning in parking slot 34 at Vaziani, does it work normally ? i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
granola1861 Posted March 31, 2018 Author Posted March 31, 2018 Stiill no joy. Are there any cached files that stick around after repair that could be causing this? That may be a question for ED though. The only thing that I haven't done yet is to create a mission and start from the same parking spots. I want to try this out with the mirage as well as different modules, just haven't had time. Maybe this weekend.
granola1861 Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 So I figured it out. Something I should have done from the start. The BFVG Farp mod was keeping the doors from opening. Removed it and all is well now. Back to the campaign again!
