No further updates have been given and it seems I am not the only concerned customer! I fly fixed wing in real life and I know many customers seem to be putting up with this and think that it’s accurate, but there is no way it is! I have not flown a chopper however I was Air Assault and in a Lynx regularly! There would be a lot more UH-1 hulls lying in the Vietnam countryside if it was! In this sim even a cargo of 4 pax puts far to much stress on the systems! In real missions the weight would have been on the limits of design, especially with a heavy load of ammo or as many casualties as they could carry! Lots of armchair pilots seem to be happy with a very slow takeoff, however it’s clear in real life an abrupt lift under fire would have been possible! I’m sure the real combat pilots knew the exact time and heat limits they had before anything went pop! Seems the representation of EGT is way short of this! The UH-1 is flyable yes, but not usable in any mission! DCS is not FSX or X-Plane! I’m rather disappointed that something as critical as this has not been rectified. It appears the concern is mainly to work on the newer product prior to even looking at this. All we want is an update! I don’t normally rant, however this is becoming frustrating. It was one of my favourite modules! Hope it gets resolved quickly! I have been a supporter of all your products, however get the feel that the greed for more revenue is conflicting with customer support!

They recognized their data were not completely accurate and they are working on a solution. Please don't take this in the wrong way but putting forward your fixed wing experience to justify anything about choppers does not work. Believe me, I fly both and it's like day and night. Rogue Trooper Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 There is a fix coming, but be sure that the Huey is a "cheap" single engine airframe with the cheapest rotor hub available that fulfilled the militaries need for a troop air lift quickly..... there is no comparison between the Lynx and Huey! The Huey allowed for massive growth of air cav quickly and cheaply and it did so at the right time and at the right price. Its design was pure genius. It is heavily flawed for a military machine nowadays but put in a good and useful long service life. HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled. DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!. Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.
