Sound mods don't apply to server track files?

With the Spitfire's replay tracks being totally broken, I've been recording MP sessions over my LAN to get video recordings.

On my client computer I have Jaffa's Spit sound mod installed. On my server computer I do not have that sound mod installed. I noticed that when I move the server track file to my client computer, and replay it on my client computer, some of the signature sounds--like the exhaust popping when reducing throttle--don't seem to play.

Would sound mods installed on the server computer be recorded on the track, and thus replayed on a client computer even without that sound mod installed?

That's odd, because the sound mod on my client computer does not work when I replay the server track. If I replay the client track of the exact same flight, the sound mod does work.

I noticed the same holds true for Terrain Restriction = false. If the server computer has terrain restriction enabled, but the client computer has it disabled, the server track replayed on the client computer will retain the server's setting.

Confirmed so far. I have the sound mod installed on both client and server PC, yet replaying the server track gives default sounds. JSGME installs the sound files to the Saved Games path.

I even tried installing the sounds directly to the DCS sounds path on the client computer, and the server track still replayed with default sounds. It seems that the default sounds are baked into server track files.

I need to test if it will work with the sound mod installed in the server's DCS sounds path.
