christiankirk81 Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 (edited) My PC just updated to 1803 last night. Afterwhich I started noticing some ghosting when viewing from within the cockpit. Normally very smooth viewshift (TrackIR 5), running on GSYNC, now is exibits some ghosting and microstutters but FPS remains 90+. I've checked that I'm not running on windowed mode, checked GSYNC is on. Running 2.5.2. I'll try deleting shaders and see if that helps. toutenglisse Posted May 29, 2018 Author Posted May 29, 2018 christiankirk81, I think I noticed that too in VR with DCS and P3d but it's very subjective and hard to monitore. (with "microstutters" you can barelly see a tiny micro-dent in fps graph...)

If all else fails, I might just roll back. i7 9700k@5.0 Ghz, 32gb DDR4-3200, Maximus XI Formula, Asus Strix GTX 1080ti, 1TB NVMe Samsung 970 Evo, 1TB Samsung 860 Evo Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, TM Warthog, MFG Crosswind Graphite Black, Wheelstandpro Warthog Deluxe V2, TrackIR 5 Pro. BitMaster Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 (edited) meehh yeeahhh ehhhh..I think I have some Microstutter as well now, it's really hard to tell if it is stutter at 72 fps, my eyes cause it's 11pm and I should be sleeping or something else but last night..I thought..is this stutter or my eyes/brain wanting sleep. It happened when I was looking straight ahead, 250km/h. Mi-8, 30m ASL When you fly higher, it is either not present or impossible to tell/see --- *toutenglisse: As I said I only run 2 sticks for now, straight XMP and it seems to hold, no BSOD yet ( fingers crossed ). For fun I went 1.45v and 3866..booted and tested but crashed after 2.5h Aida64....not too bad. I really think this board sucks with 4 modules. Looking towards Gigabyte or 2700X.... this situation sucks Edited May 29, 2018 by BitMaster Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X

toutenglisse Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 Gearbox : I was aware but didn't tried - my friend firstly tried that, but it made no change to the CPU perf. decrease in Realbench benchmark. But it probably affect other kind of performances. There is still today a sensible difference (26% lower average for encoding score - wich leads to 10% lower average global score , according to my own results, same for friend's results) in Asus Realbench 2.56 benchmarking scores between win10 build 1803 and previous 1709.
