Kayos Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Sometimes I get a strange window that pops up when DCS starts and stays up until it is closed. It started after the F-18 update. I've never seen it before. In task manager it shows as a DCS process. Anyone else have this or know what it is? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Kayos Posted June 2, 2018 Author Posted June 2, 2018 It's odd that it only does maybe half the time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kayos Posted June 4, 2018 Author Posted June 4, 2018 Here it is again. Didn't happen all weekend until tonight again. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 4, 2018 ED Team Posted June 4, 2018 My first guess would be antivirus or security, but it is only a guess what do you use? Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Kayos Posted June 5, 2018 Author Posted June 5, 2018 Just the Microsoft one. I'll add it as an exception. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
tusler Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I would do a search for that string in the registry and see where it is coming from. Might want to install malwarebytes and do a scan then just uninstall it after you clean up. Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:! Scanned with malwarebytes and superantispyware but they didn't find anything either. It didn't pop up tonight. Odd. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Captain Orso Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 If you get the window to reappear, and can see it in the Task Manager, right click on it and select Properties, to get much more information on it.
