pete_auau Posted June 5, 2018 Author Posted June 5, 2018 I would go with a fresh install of windows. yep that I was thinking of doing, since my pc is about 7 years old time for a upgrade of pc now to think of what is the best se up was thinking along this line I76700 32gb with a gtx 1080ti with windows 10 with 2 sd drives?
BitMaster Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 why would you want to buy a Skylake Desktop CPU "now" when the 8700k is available for roughly the same price ? The 8700k is superior in any way, MHz, core count, overclocking. The rest of the ingredients look very good. For SSD I highly recommend NVMe if you buy them new. BitMaster Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 That is top-of-the-line as of now, you cannot make it any faster with normal means. Get a good PSU if you want it to last long, Seasonic was my tip, Prime Titanium Series.
