Biga42 Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 If you is like me that got a good rig but with not that good GC, and is looking for a better balance in Performance and Quality, I got what I believe is a satisfactory result. My computer is a: i7700k 32GB RAM 250GB SSD 1TB HD Windows 10 64bits Geforce GTX 1050Ti As you can see GC is not the better choice for a Flight Sim like DCS. Playing around with DCS and NVidea Control PAnel I realized that if a let Nvidea do the service I got high Frame Rates even with high settings in DCS System Panel.IS the best, no but is fun to see all the Persian buildings, flying low at 30FPS...Hope can help all with the same issue.
Shadow KT Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Witch the Lens Effect from Flare to Dirt (Flare eats a lot of performance and you don't see that with your eyes in real life either) You can set Heat Blur to low as well. All AA and MSAA should be done from the nVidia control panel With 32GBs of RAM turn the preload radius to Max. Try and increase your view range above High. 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
ouPhrontis Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Terrain object shadows could be turned to flat and you'll not really notice any difference visually whilst flying.
