monkie Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 If you try to take control of any Hornet on the ground, either parked, on the runway, taxing etc using Alt-J the aircraft explodes as soon as the player enters the aircraft. This can be duplicated on both Caucus and Nevada maps on multiple airports. Alt-J into an already airborne Hornet works fine. This might be related to a bug reported where some spawning Hornets in MP seem to spawn into the ground and explode. Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
discwalker Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 This maybe in relation with gear-up take control on alt+J. Su-27 also explode if you take control at landing rolling. GTX 1070 8GB, 16GB DDR3, W8.1 on SSD, DCS on another SSD
monkie Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 Gear up take control? a control binding conflict? I'm sorry I don't have the SU-27, is there some type of fix for that? Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
discwalker Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) worth to see in 1/64th slow motion The hornet lifting up from the back, to snap the nose onto the ground. The attached tracks are speed adjusted. (Since the Su-27 landing take control behaviour is not fixed completely.)2,5,2,20601AIrampALTGR+J_Explode.trk2,5,2,20601AItaxiALTGR+J_Explode.trk Edited August 18, 2018 by discwalker GTX 1070 8GB, 16GB DDR3, W8.1 on SSD, DCS on another SSD
monkie Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 This is an issue for the F-18, AV-8B and also the F-14, NTTR map. Late activation, start on the runway, ALT-J to take over and they sink into runway and explode. Any hope for a fix? reported almost a year ago. ctguy1955 Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Alt J has not worked for Me sense the F14 was released. I hope this is fixed.
