There are a maximum of 8 different DX axis that can be used. What happens if you need more than 8 to run your devices. Can more than one command from your axis control page use the same DX axis without conflict if they are mapped to different plane functions?

Yeah between my current gear I have 15 axis no problem.

Virpil stick, Warthog Throttle, CH Throttle Quadrant, Crosswind Pedals.

The 8 axes limit is per device.

Thanks for that clarification! So each device with a limit of 8 axis can't use 2 of the same axis in the one device? For example, could a throttle and slider on the throttle use the same DX axis.

Nice setup...

Do you map direct to DCS or use software like TARGET?

dburne, you once mentioned a long time ago that you were able to map your j-stick mouse to move the game pointing cross...how did you do that?

Hmm not sure about that.

I typically use either my mouse, or my head (VR) to move the cursor. I do have mouse left click assigned to a button on my throttle.

I find the HMD more difficult than the mouse to point with so using the mouse I may as well use its buttons.
