Turnip Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 If I have the autopilot engaged and set to Bar Alt, I cannot find a way to disconnect it. I have to move the stick quite a bit to get it to disengage. What am I missing?
DDSSTT Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Turnip, the pilots I fly with are having the same issues, A/P seems to remain engaged to an extent even after disengaging the push buttons on the UFC and holding the paddle switch. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.csg-2.net/
Emmy Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Don't "Hold" the Paddle Switch as that is the G-Limiter over ride. Just tap the paddle to disco the A/P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com
Turnip Posted July 5, 2018 Author Posted July 5, 2018 I am not sure what you mean Emmy. Would I not select A/P below the UFC again? Or is there a DSICONNECT switch I am not aware of
=Panther= Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 The same button you have set to disable NWS is the AP disconnect switch, also referred to as the paddle switch. Rlaxoxo Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Autopilot Disengage/NWS Disengage (Paddle switch) - Press it once to disable the AP or ... Just hit the UFC Autopilot "Baro hold" for example button 1 more time [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit
Weegie Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 I use the paddle I find if I hit the switch a second time on the UFC panel it still limits my stick movement to an extent until you go beyond a certain value then it comes unstuck all of a sudden with an almighty jerk. Using the paddle gives e a smooth disengage
