Hi I have a Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS joystick which is getting somewhat tired/sloppy.

Am wondering if I replace it with exactly the same type; will I be able to just disconnect the tired stick and replace/connect the new one and keep all my input bindings without any other actions. So will work just as it did with old same type joystick.

Thankyou...Gary

Hi HiJack I found the .diff.lua in location

C:\Users\Gary\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\FA-18C_hornet\joystick

for example ...and gather the number in brackets as per pic attached is the current joystick ID.

How would you obtain the new joystick device ID? so as to cut and paste it into the file name within brackets of .diff.lua file.

Is this how it is done...Gary

Thanks HiJack...so to confirm: connect new HOTAS...make a single change with new joystick...copy ID within brackets of new HOTAS to old .diff.lua HOTAS within brackets.

Is this all correct?
