DaveRindner Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Water injection, while increasing thrust, prevents full fuel burn, which is expelled as dark smoke. I am not really seeing dark smoke from exaust vents when H20 is ON in either TO or landing modes. Is it there, and maybe by GPU is not rendering it right? It is not really a bug, just a visual que. H20 injection does work in DCS: AV-8B. I go through all 500lbs of water in under 30 seconds. One of the documentaries from way back, stated that Harrier could only hover for 90 seconds becouse of water. I am lucky if I get 30 seconds.
al531246 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 I'm seeing it clear as day. Maybe it's the result of one of your graphical settings? Intel i5-8600k | EVGA RTX 3070 | Windows 10 | 32GB RAM @3600 MHz | 500 GB Samsung 850 SSD

DaveRindner Posted July 12, 2018 Author Posted July 12, 2018 OK. I guess either I am not seeing it, or my Quadro GPU is not doing what its supposed to.
