Schmidtfire Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Trying to use the Radar in limited air-air mode. I am following these steps: IR-RB selected ANF Radar in A1 Somehow I cannot see any contacts :( I have tried to adjust the elevation. But no matter how close I am or high 20.000ft (same for bandits to avoid groud clutter) There are no radar returns from other aircraft... Last time I tried with a group of four Flankers, not a single return. Is this feature working, is it a bug, or do I screw something up on my end?

Vannipo Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Have you tried setting the radar to linear mode? So, it is working for you? You can see contacts in the air?
LazyBoot Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 So, it is working for you? You can see contacts in the air? Last time I tried I could only barely see them (though it was the bigger planes in one of the included missions) but that was before I found out that linear mode is a good idea.

dFlow Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 you have to export the radar on a screen next to you ... on the ingame screen it is much harder to see planes are really small dots, which are apparently not more than that you don't see what it is, how high it flies, where to it goes or if it is a friend or foe ... but in combination with a gci it can help to make out targets so yes i can see targets in the air (or at least months ago)
