[NO TRACK INCLUDED] No STT after lock from RWS

Running 2.5.2 release, I can not select STT from a RWS contact. Elevation is good and azimuth is near center, range is about 15 miles. Designate results in all contacts disappearing from the DDI.

 

Also the contacts (Mig 29) are so difficult to search, I end up using the radar warning receiver to locate the AI targets.

 

Is this a limitation of the early release status of the 2.5.2 stable release version, in other words do I have to wait for the beta improvements to filter down.

Same kind of issue, when locking a target in front of me on the DDI, the HUD target cue appears somewhere else, sometimes as if the target was completely to the side.

Sounds like the issue you have is the same as the one described in this thread, which is different from what Accipiter encounters (unless my brain overheated and I misread :bounce: ).

Just had the case that I couldn't lock up a single MiG-23 from behind. The beam was narrowed on the gate, but it couldn't catch the bogey at 12nm.
