Mr_Burns Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Hi, can anyone help or confirm they are/i am insane? I program my Hotas and MFD directly into DCS and create a profile.lua Just now, spent 20 minutes setting up a SP mission in editor...all my profiles are reset. They are saved inside the DCS folder but not in any dedicated folder, should I be saving them in a completely different folder or do user created missions not read personal settings? 2 times i reprogrammed the Hotas Joystick and MFDs (for some reason the Hotas Throttle seems to retain settings). Arrrrrrrrrge :joystick::joystick::joystick:
hansangb Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 your changes should be save to C:\users\your_name\SAVED GAMES The CONFIG folder under the above. Does it even modify the profile lua anymore? They all go into the diff.lua files. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
Mr_Burns Posted January 26, 2019 Author Posted January 26, 2019 Its just happened again, all my different control profiles have been screwed up! Can I ask, are people using target or in game assignments for their Thrustmaster HOTAS? I have never used TARGET am I missing out?
Thick8 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Make sure your config files noted above are not read only. I chased that ghost for a week one time. CMDR Bladesmith24 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 (edited) I am using the desktop aviator 2120 pulse generator to connect my pcflights.com a10c cockpit control faceplates that I setup with toggle switches from desktopaviator.com. I try to bind them in dcs to confirm thewy work before proceeding to purchase the other 33 panels. if I cant get one toggle switch panel to work no point in continuing the build. full a10c cockpit. my issue is when you bind in setting then save and exit even if you load the saved profile. as soon as I exit settings the binds revert back to default except for my hotas warthog controls. they stay bound. please help. yes I know about the gam and sim modes. I did this in both and even in the moules like power. please help. PLEASE. I already got 3 32 inch screens on a triple display, thm hotas warthog, and mfg crosswind ruder pedals, as well as a volairsim.com flight sim chassis. simpart.de is way to expensive for me to buy there frame so once I get all the right console control panels I will build the console to hold the panels. unless someone has bought a console for a10c from them. if so can I also the get dimensions to build myself. thankyou for taking the time to read this and happy flying commanders. o7.
