Alphamale Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Just saw a video on a new "bomb" as they called it, though it looks more like a cruise missile. It can penetrate sandstorms and other severe weather to track and find bad guys via millimeter wave radar, IR, and Laser Track designate. They say the Super bug E and F variants will get them soon. Is this new or old news?

gekoiq Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 It's the newest version of the small diameter bomb, with a tri-mode seeker, most definitely a bomb not a missile, it just has wings so it can glide longer distances, no motor in it. No we won't be getting it on our C Hornet.
Backy 51 Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 (edited) AGM-154 "Smart Pig" JSOW is coming to the Hornet … give it time. LOL Now JASSM would be even better … Edited July 27, 2018 by Backy 51 I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
