meloco Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Hi - with the autostart I keep getting right engine rpm failure due to parameters. I've had quick search on here and couldn't see anyone else having this. Is there a fix/workaround? [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/Meloco/f18indgMeloco-sig-1.jpg[/sIGPIC]
Shack Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Are you referring to inflight restart parameters? If so, refer to section 15-2 of: https://info.publicintelligence.net/F18-EF-000.pdf Intel i9 14900K @5.5 MHz, 64GB DDR 5 RAM at 6000 MHz, RTX4090, Pimax Crystal HMD, HOTAS: Winwing F16EX / Orion 2 Throttle base / Top Gun MIP / F-16 ICP setup. meloco Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 No sorry, I should have been clearer. This is a cold start from a hangar, using the "auto start" windows key + Home. It constantly halts and says "RPM Failure". Weather conditions are -4. [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/Meloco/f18indgMeloco-sig-1.jpg[/sIGPIC]
Shack Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Not sure about autostart features ... Alphamale Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Did you try Engine Heat switch next to Pitot? Sounds like you're getting the Inlet Ice problem...does your throttle use a two axis engine thrust levers one for each engine?

Yes I tried that but doesn't seem to work (I don't think it's actually a programmed feature (?) ) dual throttle axis (not one for each like the TM warthog). swagchimp Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 It's definitely implemented but it's more for anti-icing than deicing purposes IIRC, also I think it needs AC power. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Papa Spardy Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 I logged on and tried auto start after seeing this and I got the same thing. I'm guessing it's just broken right now
