Nealius Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 I'm frequently running into issues where the ground crew replies "Unable to comply" every time I ask to place chocks, in various places on the deck. My launch bar is up, NWS off (I think? Maybe that's it...), parking brake set, and they still won't chock me.
Badger1409 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 It works ok for me when I ask for it with the parking brake on although I've not tried in the last couple of days. I tend to park on the elevators or nearby. Nealius Posted August 22, 2018 Author Posted August 22, 2018 Just happened again. Tried to park next to Elevator 2, NWS off, parking brake set, crew refused to chock me up. I moved over between Elevator 1 and 2, tried again, and this time they chocked me.
Zooker Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 I had a similar issue, but in reverse. I was attempting to unchock. After cycling the launch bar, oddly enough the chocks worked as expected. Nealius Posted August 23, 2018 Author Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) Still constantly having this problem. Even with the engines shut down they won't place chocks, but they will give me ground power and rearm/refuel. Chocks also work 100% reliably on land bases. Do we have to be tuned to the carrier tower frequency? Getting chocks on land without being on tower frequency works fine. Edited August 23, 2018 by Nealius
