Tanker RaceTrack

Hello,

I have a mission, trying to create refueling

I have a KC130 heading to wypt2 ,

were tanker is instructed to Orbit/racetrack 300kts / 10,000ft

it passes wypt 2 to wypt 3, then circles wypt 3 ?

both waypoints are set at 300 kts / 10,000 ft

 

 

I must have missed something?????

Never mind, I found the problem

< I mistakenly deleted the default commands in the advanced waypoints

Care to elaborate what are the correct settings for establishing a racetrack pattern with the tanker ?

Place two waypoints. At the first, set an orbit in advanced waypoint actions. Select "race track" as the type and set the desired speed and altitude. The tanker will orbit between WP1 and WP2.

Problem for me is that my Tanker wont do the race track correctly.

 

Tanker ist set to takeoff from parking hot. Waypoint 2 and 3 should be the racetrack (orbit is set to racetrack at wp 2). WP 4 is landing (I assume the tanker is RTB when on Bingo fuel)

 

Tanker will take off, goto WP2 then WP3 and then starts turning erratically to left and right not doing the correct racetrack pattern. Tried to remove the landing waypoint with no effect. Any ideas?

 

Did not delete any default commands AFAIK. May someone post a screenshot or two how the tanker is setup corretly? Thank you in advance,

No ideas? Today I try to completely delete the tanker and set it up again. Maybe this helps...

In WP 1 (initial, takeoff waypoint), remove the (greyed out) refueling task. This tells the aircraft to fly to the nearest tanker and refuel, NOT start the refueling task. Simply remove the task and all should be well.

I will Hijack this Thread, because its a similar Topic: I have a Tanker which doesnt do what i want him to do...

 

The Tanker does the Racetrack and i can Refuel.

But its slow as hell.

I have a KC-135 and want him to fly 350kts.

But no matter which speeds i enter he flys only 250kts.

 

I attached the Misson maybe someone can take a look at it and point me to my error?

I set it to various speeds but seems like it had no effect. The Tanker cruises at around 260kts, i cant get him faster. SO thats the Question, if it doesnt work to change the speed in this Task, where do i need to put the numbers in?
