StandingCow Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 VR problems, beta is beta...that's why we all have stable Release versions to fall back on till things get fixed. Normally that's how it is supposed to work... but I would not be the least bit surprised if this gets pushed to stable. 5900X - 32 GB 3600 RAM - 1080TI My Twitch Channel ~Moo
fitness88 Posted August 31, 2018 Author Posted August 31, 2018 Normally that's how it is supposed to work... but I would not be the least bit surprised if this gets pushed to stable. I can't imagine knowingly putting this issue into Release while the current version is working so nicely.
some1 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 You never know, that's what they did last week when they knowingly pushed to stable branch an update which is crashing AV-8B. You can always roll back to previous version. If you don't play MP that is. Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
fitness88 Posted August 31, 2018 Author Posted August 31, 2018 Why roll back to a previous version of beta when you have a stable Release version that can play on the current Multi-player. It's interesting, with software when re-writing sections of code in programs with thousands of lines of code, it's hard to determine where the 'bulge' is going to be that screws up something else. Then there's the inevitable need for de-bugging...this will go on with every update.

Believe it or not, the point of being on a beta is suffering issues and reporting them to fix all those little badboys. Going back to release version without reporting or sending logs or providing useful info for devs on forums... because you just want to play is... unfair :smilewink: i5 8400 | 32 Gb RAM | RTX 2080Ti | Virpil Mongoose T-50 base w/ Warthog & Hornet sticks | Warthog throttle | Cougar throttle USB | Orion 2 throttle base w/ Viper & Hornet grips| VKB T-Rudder Mk IV | Oculus Rift S | Buddy-Fox A-10 UFC | 2x TM MFDs & 1x WW DDI | 2x Bass shakers | SIMple SIMpit chair | WW TakeOff panel | Andre JetSeat | WW Hornet UFC | WW Viper ICP FC3 - Warthog - F-5E - Harrier - NTTR - Hornet - Tomcat - Huey - Viper - C-101 - PG - Hip - SuperCarrier - Syria - Warthog II - Hind - South Atlantic - Sinai - Strike Eagle - Phantom - Mirage F1 - Afghanistan - Irak
