Shotgun Dexter Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I want to fly with my dad, who is 75. I have limited computer skills. It seems fairly intuitive to create a server, on my computer, but my dad cant see it on server list. We also tried using the address. I went to his house to help, but he is right, its not there. Attempted the port forwarding, not 100% sure I did it correct. Is there a way to verify, my port forward. I know running an ethernet cable would be better than WiFi, but could WiFi be my issue with hosting. I would love a troubleshooting guide for dummies. Any advise would be appreciated...I really want to shoot his Mustang down with my Harrier.

Yes, use this online checker: https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ You have to do the check when DCS is running and in Server mode, like this: For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
