Hornet on start, weird throttle and joystick position

Recommended Posts

Hello guys

I have this problem, whenever I get in the cockpit (same for cold, hot and air start) joystick is full to the left and throttle is always on full power.

This thing is happening to me for approx 2 months and every time I get in the cockpit.

As soon as I move the throttle and joystick, it sets on the right position.

It's not a big deal if I'm on cold start, but it sucks when you are on air start because the plane starts turning around.

How to fix it? Is there a file that has referent/0 position of the throttle and joystick?

I'm on OB

It also happens to me, but with all the modules. What I do is disconnect the Joystic and reconnect it, and if it is not solved, I access the control panel, devices and Windows printers and calibrate the joystick. It is a temporary solution.

I experienced the same, using TM Warthog stick and throttle. I have tried calibrate over and over, re-assigned axis but was not able to get it resolved.

However after a reinstallation of Windows 10 (new SSD) and DCS, using all the proper Thrustmaster drivers, the problem did not occur again.

Maybe related, on my previous installation I also experienced the dreaded "TrackIR disconnect" and "TrackIR connect" issue. This also led to the same extreme deflection of all axis.

I'm using all standard Windows10 system USB drivers now and also this problem is solved. (for me)

I'm on an ancient i950/X58 CPU/Mobo combo with no official Windows10 support anymore BTW.

Hi

I would try to go to Options > Misc. and try this option to see if it fixes your issue:

Synchronize Cockpit Controls with HOTAS Controls as Mission Start
