Nealius Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 After testing out the new M82AIRs, I noticed the CCIP doesn't appear to adjust for wind, causing my bombs to fall all over the place. Is it possible to enter wind direction/speed into the Hornet's system to compensate for wind, like you can with the A-10C?
WildBillKelsoe Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 I think you need a CDU/LASTE which the F/A-18C does not appear to have. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
theinmigrant Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 No, you cant. We need to wait until the INS is fully simulated to account for winds. The cbu 99 does account for winds in my several tests, BUT the aircraft accounts for winds in the launch altitude. If the winds change at impact level then the cbu will be affected.
