TrackerIR 4 Pro & proclip advice!

I need some input on my tracker and proclip. What is the best settings for it? I reinstalled windows and put installed lock on then flammin cliffs then patch 1.12a, when i started the game it actually worked this time but while it was loading up the game the starforce messege popped up saying the flammin cliffs cd was need to be inserted! That was weird but i got it going. After a week im going to probably have to do it agian unless i can get some help from somebody!

I'm sorry, I don't see what exactly is the problem you're having with trackIR.

Its not smooth enough and it jurks quite a pit or it kinda stutters!

The profile has different settings i just looking for the best settings!

First, try deleting /LockOn/Input/TrackIR.ini file. Dump it in recycle bin, don't delete it permanently just in case but I believe that's a recommended procedure for TrackIR.

 

And make sure you have to sunlight shining behind you. That happens to me sometimes and TrackIR starts to jump around.

 

As far as TrackIR setting, make sure Track Clip Pro is selected as tracking. For LOMAC, check off all axis except yaw and pitch since those are the only two used by LOMAC. The curve is personal preference but I don't like the dead zone in the center so I keep the curve flat at value 4 in the center.

Also make sure TrackIR is placed correctly on your monitor. With TrackClipPro it should be very much off-center to the left.

 

Make sure TrackClipPro option is selected inside profile.

A good tip I saw in Natural Point's forum that may help.

 

Set light filtering to '100' and Preferred Object Size (pixels) to '100' (default)

 

They can be found in 'Tracking Settings'

 

Install the latest Track IR software:

This is how I fixed my “Track IR Clip” problem…I put the thing in my drawer. I bought it thinking it was battery operated…:doh:when I found out it was USB I gave it a try anyway…after I woke up from almost asphyxiating myself with headset and clip wire during a dog fight…I put it in my drawer.:)
