Ven Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I'm sorry, I don't see what exactly is the problem you're having with trackIR.
Raised_Dead85 Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 Its not smooth enough and it jurks quite a pit or it kinda stutters! The profile has different settings i just looking for the best settings! |Windows 8 64bit|I7-950| |X58Mobo| |1T HDD| |18gigs PC3-16000 TC 2000mhz||Nvidia GTX 660 Ti Graphics||Cougar HOTAS-CHPedals/TIR5ProClip|
Ven Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 First, try deleting /LockOn/Input/TrackIR.ini file. Dump it in recycle bin, don't delete it permanently just in case but I believe that's a recommended procedure for TrackIR. And make sure you have to sunlight shining behind you. That happens to me sometimes and TrackIR starts to jump around. As far as TrackIR setting, make sure Track Clip Pro is selected as tracking. For LOMAC, check off all axis except yaw and pitch since those are the only two used by LOMAC. The curve is personal preference but I don't like the dead zone in the center so I keep the curve flat at value 4 in the center.
Shaman Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Try these profiles, work fine for me (attached) Also make sure TrackIR is placed correctly on your monitor. With TrackClipPro it should be very much off-center to the left. Make sure TrackClipPro option is selected inside profile.Profiles.rar 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer

Paralyzer Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 A good tip I saw in Natural Point's forum that may help. Set light filtering to '100' and Preferred Object Size (pixels) to '100' (default) They can be found in 'Tracking Settings' Install the latest Track IR software: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06-support/support-download-software-and-manuals.html [URL="http://www.s77th.com"][/URL]
Willy p. Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 This is how I fixed my “Track IR Clip” problem…I put the thing in my drawer. I bought it thinking it was battery operated…:doh:when I found out it was USB I gave it a try anyway…after I woke up from almost asphyxiating myself with headset and clip wire during a dog fight…I put it in my drawer.:) 44th_Willy p. 187 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://44thvfw.org
