I use it even though it doesn't work perfectly with all of the mods. Modman sometimes gives me problems with installing/uninstalling certain mods. It will sometimes install some parts of the mod in the wrong location. When I decide to uninstall the mod, it sometimes (in my experience) does not uninstall the mod completely leaving some bits and pieces. It could be a problem with Modman itself or the improper steps taken by the creator of the mod making it Modman compatible. If I want to try a mod. I would just back up the original folders where the mod will be installed so that if something goes wrong I know I can go back to original state. Even with these shortcomings I still use it to identify the folders where the mod will be installed specifically. I voted 'Yes' ;)

A good tip I saw in Natural Point's forum that may help. I agree that it can easily be located by the frequent readers of this forum. However, the casual visitors might not even notice it. I think what GOYA is trying to point out here is that a big event like this only shows good signs about LOMAC and should be noticed by all (and right away!). When a newcomer visits the forum and sees this event. It shows how active and fun Lock On can be judging from the 'IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!' testimonials :lol: . Who knows it might get them excited and motivated to fly more Lock ON or upgrade to Flaming Cliffs. :thumbup: When you look at the daily paper at the newstands. You will notice that news headlines and major events are always in the front page (even with huge and bold letters) to get people's attention. Like what NotiA10 said 'It's good advertisement'.

From Saitek's forums: A note about old .dat profiles The new software uses a new format for the profiles (.pro) so your old .dat profiles will not work. This does mean that you will need to create new profiles for your games, I'm afraid. We're working on a conversion tool that will convert .dat files to .pro files, but it's not ready yet. Some of you will be aware that the old SST software did generate .pro files in addition to the .dat file when you saved a new profile so may think that these will work, but unfortunately this isn't the case.
