tmansteve Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I have linked the saved games folders between the 2 but need to know the procedure if there is one for Openbeta and DCS Stable as some mods need to be in the root of the sim and want to save space. I use F:\> for the DCS Installs, using /J. Should I use /D? Any help would be great
Rudel_chw Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 /J is the proper way ... I've the used mklink to unify certain subfolders of Saved Games/DCS. For me it has worked well, tough my motivation wasn't the saving of space, but the ease of use that I get when I assign a Hotas control on one DCS, and then I've the same assignment on the other DCS, or have the Campaign progress and logbook be the same for both DCS installs. After a while, I opted to just stay with the Openbeta and deleted the stable version, but I kept the mklink arrangements in order to mantain a backup of my configuration on a cloud drive.
