Hell guys,

After reading the specials on the bundle packs containing the Hornet and the Persian Gulf map I can't seem to locate this through the module manager. The DCS webpage details the bundle pack but when I go in via my module manager, nothing is there on special. I can only see the normally priced Hornet and Gulf map for sale.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

On the opening screen there is an arrow on the left side. Click the arrow and you will see a note with a link for the special deal on F18 and Persian Gulf.

Ok, one problem. that link takes me to the DCS web page which says to use the module manager. When I'm in the module manager I can't see any bundle deals for the Hornet/Gulf map and SU-33. I can only see the normally priced maps, planes, campaigns & terrains etc

A good confidence boost for DCS (or not)

Today I bought 3 items, Normandy Map, WW2 Assets Pack (bundled with Normandy Map) and Spitfire Mk IX. I attempted to start the Normandy Map but all I could get was wallpaper, other options map options not available(e.g. instant action). However, Spitfire did start up in Caucasus map, but preflight check and engine start failed at Rudder check. Checked Module manager and whilst I could see WWII assets pack, no Normandy Map. Whilst I was looking through the module manager (for inspiration) the Module manager froze up on Options page and the only way out was to shut down my system. Now what?

Hello,

First, I assure you that the Module Manager does work, as I have no trouble getting all Maps to show up on Module Manager:

To diagnose what may be the cause of your situation, please attach a zipped version of your dcs.log file (it's at /saved games/dcs/logs/ ), so that we can have more info about the problem.

Another thing that you may try is to force the install of Normandy Map, for that open a Command Windows with admin privileges, navigate to the DCS program folder, and once there execute the command:

DCS_UPDATER INSTALL "NORMANDY_terrain"

Next time, please open a new thread, rather than re-using an old thread that has little to do with your case .. that way the info is more easily found by others that may have the same issue :)

Best regards

.
