MasterZelgadis Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Kind enough ?!! We are doing their job to find and point the bugs and you´re saying they are kind enough to let me play after paying $80,00. Sorry, but I do not agree at all. And as I said before, this product is proving in all respects to be very pre pre "Early Access" and be sure that I will be very careful before purchasing another "Early Access" from ED. Let me check your forum statistics to see all the bug reports you made. Hmm.. No, except from participating in a controls shitstorm someone else started, I didn't find any. Did you sign a contract? An NDA? Something like that? That's what normally happens, when you are beta testing. You may do a lot of things, but ED's job certainly not. And again. it was YOUR CHOICE to "do their job", that moment you said "Early Access? Hm, I will pay that $80". I stay with it. No right to complain. BoneDust Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Why do you think you pay the $80 to get it before release? You pay the $80 for the module. Period. ED is kind enough to let you play the current development build because you paid these $80 before release. Let's say you would have to pay only $40, because only half the features are there. Do you want to pay the rest of the money at release? And if you don't you get a nice "you have to buy this feature" warning, when you try to fire a missile? I respect your opinion, but you know that it is feature incomplete (because it is labelled "early access".. which is absolutely no indicator for a state the software is in, by the way), and you, you alone can decide whether you want to pay the $80 for the current state or wait and pay the $80 when the software is "complete" (or rather on release, software is never complete). And anyone, who willingly has decided to pay these $80 for an incomplete software in development, has in my opinion absolutely not the right to complain about bugs or missing features in that piece of software. +1 Alienware New Aurora R15 | Windows® 11 Home Premium | 64bit, 13thGen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9 13900KF(24-Core, 68MB| NVIDIA(R) GeForce RTX(TM) 4090, 24GB GDDR6X | 1 X 2TB SSD, 1X 1TB SSD | 64GB, 2x32GB, DDR5, 4800MHz | 1350W PSU, Alienware Cryo-tech (TM) Edition CPU Liquid Cooling power supply | Pimax Crystal VR
backspace340 Posted October 17, 2018 Author Posted October 17, 2018 The latest hot fix messed up my controls again and my older profiles don't work anymore... Hopefully this doesn't go into release tomorrow. It won't affect stable users because they never had the new defaults - all ED did with the hotfix was remove their defaults. The correct solution that everyone should have done after the last OB patch was to delete ED's defaults - then your bindings would have returned to normal and would have been untouched with this new hotfix (and it took 1 minute, versus hours to rebind). If instead you tried to work with the new bindings and re-bind everything then you'll have been messed up by the hotfix.
E-Rock Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Yes, the hotfix messed up my bindings again, because I fixed it after the previous update. The rebinding is becoming second nature now so it took only a few minutes haha.
