Davai means give, as in 'give me that Kutz repaint'?

crazyeddie Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 The Indian Navy are converting the ex Russian Admiral Gorshkov into a full blown carrier with a ski jump, to be named INS Vikramaditya. They are removing all the missile stuff from the front end and setting it up like a full blown carrier. It will operate MIG29's, Ka 28/30's. It's not the same ship but very close for conversion purposes, a tad short on length etc. I am in the process of changing the flight deck detail on the K into the Indian Version and skinning the Mig 29A to fly off it. Rather than create a new country I am simply adding both the ship and the aircraft to the USA listings in the ME Ini file. Then I will have a go at the Helo's as well. I use PhotImpact to do the work, not th greatest but it suits me.

crazyeddie Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Already tried it as AI, it takes off just fine even with a full weapon load and it lands on the wires and stops, parks up. No visual hook of course, but it looks okay apart from that. All you have to do is give it the same attributes as the Su 33 in the Me Ini file, copy and paste the Take Off and Landing stuff for the Russian Carrier. Have not tried driving it myself yet.

I consider the question for my french camo of the su-33, but most of all I dream of a chinese "kuz", that could be more than a dream : the varyag looks near completion (and not to become a casino) and there are more than rumors for chinese su-33's... I've found the file with the name of the ship and different elements in the cdds, but if there are others who are interested, or someone who made a template, maybe could we share informations ?
