Nealius
It's a little hard to see in a stationary screenshot, but take a look at the top radar dish, bottom left quadrant, and you can see jagged triangular shapes that do not match the waves surrounding it. These flicker and occur with every transparent texture like radar dishes, fences, ship antennae, etc. This only occurs in the western region of the Persian Gulf. It does not occur in the eastern region, nor does it occur in the Caucasus map. This appeared with the 2.5.3.23225 OB update.
Nealius
Update: Reverting one update prior to 2.5.3.23225 did not resolve the problem. However, I did find the specific regions where this glitch occurs: It specifically occurs around BP49 and YH44; the latter of which where I typically had the Tarawa. The northeast corner of YH (around YH98/99) is free of this glitch, and so I have moved the Tarawa there. I'm assuming there are regions dotting the map where this glitch occurs, and regions where it does not occur. Also attaching a clearer picture of the issue. Note the triangles being rendered around the base of the refueling probe:
Burning Bridges
I have this too, on all maps. My impression is that it is a fallback specifically programmed - the game has not loaded the texture and when its loaded it immediately goes away. It's no big problem in my own plane but can be strange when switching between other planes.
IceFire
Water going nuts So I figured someone has posted this already.. But I haven't seen it so I'll go ahead. Feel free to delete if it's a known issue. Water seems to leap up around objects in the PG. I'm constantly seeing triangles/polygons around the edges of ships/objects traveling in the water. you only see it at the outlines of the ship/object but its very distracting. Hard to see in screenshots, I'll post a video shortly It only happens in the PG, I have never seen it in Caucuses. spiddx
Seen this too. It might have something to do with the wakes. Look at the left side here: Specs: i9 10900K @ 5.1 GHz, EVGA GTX 1080Ti, MSI Z490 MEG Godlike, 32GB DDR4 @ 3600, Win 10, Samsung S34E790C, Vive, TIR5, 10cm extended Warthog on WarBRD, Crosswinds
Nealius
I reported the same in October, here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=223381 For me it only happens in very specific areas of the Persian Gulf map. Never in Caucasus, and never outside of specific locations in the Gulf.
spiddx
Yeah here is a very short track (30sec) in the Yak where these distortions are very noticable around the canopy frame. Happens with many (all?) different aicraft though.water1.trk Specs: i9 10900K @ 5.1 GHz, EVGA GTX 1080Ti, MSI Z490 MEG Godlike, 32GB DDR4 @ 3600, Win 10, Samsung S34E790C, Vive, TIR5, 10cm extended Warthog on WarBRD, Crosswinds
Nealius
For clarification of my original post, when I said "eastern region" I meant the GOO. I have yet to see this bug in that area.
