Shadow_1stVFW Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the ground track indicator points incorrectly? I'm away from home and when I get home I'll make a proper bug report but want to know if anyone else has this issue. It appears to be connected to MAGVAR. Like the indicator works, you can see on the ground it moves around like you'd expect but it's just off. Ramsay Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 The ground track pointer uses true bearings even when the rest of the EHSD is using magnetic. Switching MAPM to TRUE, fixes the issue but it'd be better if Razbam would fix it so worked correctly in the default MAGNETIC mode as well - reported 20th July https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=216269 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440

Nealius Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I have also, however, had the ground track disagreeing with the HUD. In some cases, ground track showing me I have crosswind from the left while my HUD tells me I have crosswind from the right.
Shadow_1stVFW Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Probably still the same issue. I've noticed that, if your crosswind component is less than 6 degrees (in the Caucasus) then that can happen Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk Aurora R7 || i7K 8700K || 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s || 2TB M.2 PCIe x4 SSD || GTX 1080 Ti with 11GB GDDR5X || Windows 10 Pro || 32GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2667MHz || Virpil Warbird Base || Virpil T-50 Stick || Virpil MT-50 Throttle || Thrustmaster TPR Pedals || Oculus Rift
