lbellouny Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 So just came across this article today: http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/24741/new-3d-audio-will-allow-a-10-pilots-to-hear-alerts-come-from-the-direction-of-the-threat What are chances of our A-10s getting a deep overhaul and re-wing? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Retired CO of the vCSG-3's VF-103 Jolly Rogers
Sadist_Cain Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Interesting article, never heard about the 3d audio stuff before. I'm holding onto hope that now they have the JHMCS for the F/A-18 they might consider making moves to put it in the A-10, would sure make a lovely addition to this cockpit upgrade that's happening for VR. Wouldn't hold my breath too much though, I thought there was some kinda deal where ED couldn't modify the A-10's functionality.
lbellouny Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 I don’t expect it to actually happen, just thought it was an interesting article, and wanted to share. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Retired CO of the vCSG-3's VF-103 Jolly Rogers
Anonymous User Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 JHMCS would be a game-changer. Even if it may be from a later suite (just guessing)
