Ironhand Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Latest update installed. The AP has no difficulty neutralizing rudder and stabilizer trim (to use the terminology from the DCS manual). However, it is unable to do so with aileron trim. The trim is continually reset throughout the speed range, though it's hardly noticable in the cockpit until the stick starts shimmying from side to side at around 550 km/h IAS. By around 750 IAS the required readjustments are sufficiently large to cause the indicator lamp to blink on and off and cockpit shake becomes noticable. Track attached. After trimming for slow speed, level flight AP attitude hold is engaged followed by baro-hold. Speed is then gradually increased through 1000 k/h IAS.MiG-29 AP Shimmy2.trk YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.
