Skyracer Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Why does it say 9M in the helmet mounted display but 9X on the hud. Should it ain't say 9X in the HMS as well? It little bit contradictory :( I was in dogfight and i manage to change this page on the width of the scan search. But i did not switch back. How the h*ll did i get to this page, and how do i switch it back to normal? What does this strange looking cursor mean? Only visible in AA mode. backspace340 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 1.probably a bug, 2. Put your TDC over the number you want and press TDC depress. 3. That's your ghost velocity vector, it's showing your true path of motion when you have your HUD caged. When the HUD is caged all the symbology is centred so it's easier to see, but because of wind etc you aren't actually travelling straight forwards - the ghost velocity vector is showing which way you're actually travelling.
Kelevra9987 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 1. Should be a Bug. 2. That page appears if you slew the TDC on the Range-Thingie and disappears as soon as you select a range like you'd lock a target AFAIK. 3. That's the Ghost Flight Path Marker. It's not bound to the A/A Mode but to the caged HUD. The HUD automatically cages with A/A Mode selected. EDIT: Damn.
