lharv71 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Hello Everyone, I am can't seem to activate my T/O Trim to turn off Advisory on DDI even though externally I can see the T/O Trim has been activated. This is at sea or on land. Help Please Many Thanks!
David OC Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 (edited) Welcome to the forum lharv71, well first post in the forum since joining in 2012.:) Bring up the FCS page on the DDI etc. Hit the takeoff trim button and it will change from reading 0 the stab's to reading 12 on the stab's after you hit the button. The only other thing to remember to do is arm the seat...I do this sometimes sssssh. Gorgok Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 If you are loaded the 12 may not be enough trim for the trim warning not to come on too. There is a chart somewhere for x lbs to more degrees, i think it had a range of 16-19 on trim for light to heavy.
backspace340 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 If you're on the carrier, you need to set trim to at least 16 before the warning goes away.
